"this album dives deeper into what's already been explored, but takes a raw expression and places it within an abstract context. there was a lot that i was afraid to admit to myself, let alone other people. journaling has become a very big part of my life over the past couple of years. it's what helped me develop an awareness of self, both past and present. it helped me to articulate the thoughts that i could feel, but couldn't speak. i do recognize in some areas, it has also led me to existential crises many times due to overthinking. overthinking, overanalyzing, and self-sabotage have become my worst enemies as i begin adulthood."

i think what i've acheived working with the pepperwood ensemble is being able to put out more expressive material. they, along with the friends that have helped me along the way, have created a safe space which allowed us to be vulnerable. it allowed us to take bold risks even when unsure or in doubt." - ATP.
