"Taking the first steps into the adult world wasn't as easy of a feat as he originally believed it would be. He called us into a meeting and we had our fair share of discussions. He appeared more depressed, anxious, angry, and disempowered than before, exhausted. While he tried as much as he could to keep his emotions hidden from the world, we know our friend. There were sleepless nights, tears, enactments of desired vengeance, so we decided to work together on another record, not only help channel his hidden demons and bring his truth to light, but to help channel ours too." - The Pepperwood Ensemble
"A CONTINUATION, A PROGRESSION, THE NEXT STEP: THEY SAY THAT THINGS GET WORSE BEFORE THEY GET BETTER, AND I REALLY HOPE THAT'S THE CASE. AS THE MUSICAL DIARY SERIES CONTINUES, I THINK I'VE STUMBLED UPON SOME OF MY MOST CATHARTIC & HONEST MATERIAL. THIS TIME AROUND, I FOUND MYSELF IN OVER MY HEAD. I WAS VERY ANXIOUS, DISHEARTENED AND FELT DOWN-TRODDEN AFTER NOVEMBER. I HAD QUIT MY FIRST JOB, AND THE WAY THINGS ENDED WERE LESS THAN DESIRABLE NOR PLEASANT. EMOTIONS & INTENTIONS THAT I NEVER THOUGHT WERE IN ME APPEARED & CONTINUED TO STIR. THERE WAS A LOT OF SELF-BLAME, GUILT, ALONG WITH A HEFTY DESIRE TO DISASSOCIATE & BECOME RECLUSE. THERE WAS A LOT OF ANGER, A LOT OF FEAR, AND... I FELT THE NEED FOR AN OUTLET, A RELEASE. THIS ALBUM SERVED AS A MEDITATION FOR ME, TO ADDRESS AND EMBRACE THOSE DARK EMOTIONS & RECONCILE WITH THE EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE." - ATP.

"Literally, I'm just someone who likes to make music and experiment with different sounds."
"I chose to go the instrumental route because it provided more of a challenge to find my voice. I find fascination in speaking through instruments. It's like discovering hidden treasures or talents behind a veil."...more
My first time listening to el. was definitely a hype experience with hard hitting drums, interesting sample work & effects, along with some cool acapellas. Been consistent before I knew him. :) ATP.
Good, groovy vibes all around. I can definitely tell that he has a very collaborative spirit too. He provides a different approach to samples and production. Definitely worth checking out. :) ATP.
Personally one of my favorite albums by one of my favorite underground producers/rappers at the moment. Ever since I heard "The Wizards Scroll" I've been hooked. It's like the perfect ear candy. :) ATP.
